A new vintage is coming…
The excellent 2025 vintage is almost ready to be released!
Featured Wines
Dark rosé of Pinot Noir Precoce—still, dry, textural, and wild.
Grapes harvested by hand in October 2024 in Barlavington Vineyard near Petworth, West Sussex.
In the winery, the grapes were destemmed, followed by gentle maceration on skins for 6 days. The juice was then pressed and fermentation finished in neutral oak barrels. The wine matured in barrel before bottling in August 2025 and is maturing for a further year in bottle before being released to the UK market.
2025 Ancestral Method Skin Contact Pinot Gris
This Pinot Gris fruit was harvested from Locksash Vineyard, West Sussex, in September 2025. The grapes were foot-stomped for 30 minutes on arrival to the winery, and fermentation allowed to start on skins for 3 days. The wine was pressed off skins and finished fermenting in a stainless steel tank. Bottled in April 2026 with additional yeast and sugar to cause secondary fermentation in bottle. The wine is undisgorged and therefore cloudy with a fine sediment of spent lees in the peachy hue.
Releasing in late spring 2026.
Still, light-bodied red wine from Pinot Noir Précoce grapes hand-harvested from Locksash Vineyard, West Sussex.
The grapes were picked in September, 2025 and destemmed in the winery before fermentation in large neutral vessels. Manual cap-management during three weeks of fermentation on skins brought ripe red cherry flavours, violet aromas, and fine ripe tannin to the finished wine. The wine was pressed to barrels to finish fermentation and mature. Bottling in May 2026, with expected release in summer 2026.
The Story
Making wine takes a lot of luck, passion, and hard work. And a bit of insanity.
